Doel:
The purpose of the study is to gain insight in the perpetuating consequences of MUS in older adults, to improve treatment guidelines. This applies to
1) Multidisciplinary treatment of MUS.
2) Cognitive behavioural interventions.
The study will address the inventarisation of the perpetuating factors that obstruct recovery in older people with MUS.
The first aim of our study is to explore perpetuating emotional, behavioral, physical and social consequences.
Second we examine the importance of perpetuating factors of MUS from the perspective of the older patient in comparison with the perspective of professionals.
Finally we explore whether the perpetuating factors of older adult differ from those of younger adults (op dit laatste onderdeel is de samenwerking met Dimence van toepassing)
